The Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Science organized an intensive awareness campaign to combat violence against women, coinciding with the global campaign of 16 days of activism against violence. The campaign, which was held at the College of Science, aimed to raise community awareness of the seriousness of violence against women and encourage all members of society to take a firm stand to confront it. The campaign included the distribution of comprehensive awareness brochures, which included detailed information about the types of violence and its negative effects, in addition to providing practical advice for preventing it. It seeks to establish the concept of gender equality and build a safe and supportive university community for all and eliminate all forms of discrimination and violence against women.
