Chemistry Department wins the Dean's Cup of the College of Science
The indoor sports hall at Anbar University witnessed great excitement today, Thursday, 28/11/2024, in the final match of the Dean of the College of Sciences Cup for indoor football. The Chemistry Department team won the championship title after defeating the Physics Department team in an exciting match.
The final match witnessed intense competition between the two teams, as both teams presented a strong performance. The Chemistry Department team managed to score four goals against two goals for the Physics Department team.
After the end of the match, the winning team was honored with the championship cup, in addition to honoring the best player, best scorer and best goalkeeper in the tournament, while the runner-up team received the second winner's cup.
The final match was attended by the Dean's representatives, heads of scientific departments and a number of instructors. In turn, they honored the winners on behalf of the Dean and emphasized during the honoring ceremony the importance of sports in the lives of students, and its role in developing their skills and abilities, and enhancing team spirit and teamwork.
