In a major scientific celebration held in Al-Hakim Hall at the University of Baghdad, the College of Science witnessed the honoring of a number of its distinguished professors, during the Iraqi Science Day Awards Ceremony organized annually by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, the President of Anbar University, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida, and the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Hashim Khalil. The College of Science instructors achieved a great achievement, as Assistant Professor Dr. Sattar Salem Ibrahim won first place in the field of patents, in appreciation of his distinguished contributions in this vital field. Professor Dr. Omar Hamad Shihab also won the Best Authored Book Award, which reflects the pioneering position of Anbar University in the field of scientific production. For his part, the President of Anbar University expressed his pride and honor in this great achievement, stressing that this honor is the culmination of the university's efforts in supporting scientific research and encouraging creativity and innovation among its professors and students.
