The College of Science Council holds the fourth session for the academic year 2024-2025
The College of Science Council held its fourth regular session on Monday, January 27, 2025, headed by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Esmat Ramzy Abdel Ghafour, and attended by all members of the Council. The session included discussions on the ongoing preparations for the final exams for the first semester of the first stage. All aspects related to the exams were discussed, to ensure their smooth and transparent conduct. The meeting also witnessed the discussion and evaluation of a group of research and scientific projects submitted by faculty members and researchers at the Faculty. During the meeting, the Dean of the College stressed the importance of teamwork and solidarity among all members of the Council in order to achieve the goals of the Faculty and raise its scientific status. The session discussed previous decisions, their implementation mechanism, and the need to complete the delayed ones. He also stressed the need to make maximum use of the competencies available in the Faculty to support the educational and research process. The Dean of the Faculty emphasized the initiative of the University President, which he launched during the University Council session under the title of the Field Day for Students, on which gardens are maintained and green spaces around the faculties, university buildings, At the end of the meeting, a future vision was presented to the College Council, which includes a set of strategic goals that the College seeks to achieve during the coming period, which will contribute to enhancing the College’s position locally and internationally.
