The Liquid Crystals Group, headed by Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdul Karim Talak, at our college, published a distinguished scientific paper in the Journal of Molecular Liquids, a top-ranked journal with an impact factor of 5.3 and a site score of 10.3. New star-shaped compounds were prepared and their properties as liquid crystals were studied, yielding excellent results. The light emission properties were also studied, yielding excellent results. Emission time tests also indicated that the prepared materials are very promising for the manufacture of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). A theoretical study of the prepared compounds was conducted. This type of research is considered advanced applied research on liquid crystals, especially since this type of compound is used in the manufacture of mobile phones, smart tablets, and computers.
