A large-scale afforestation campaign is underway as part of the Prime Minister's initiative "Anbar University, a Green Oasis."

 As part of its commitment to enhancing green spaces and achieving environmental sustainability, the College of Science launched a large-scale tree-planting campaign, in addition to publishing awareness posters and brochures. This coincided with the National Tree Planting Day launched by His Excellency the Prime Minister, and was in implementation of the initiative of the President of the University of Anbar, "Anbar University: A Green Oasis."

The campaign witnessed active participation from university professors, students, and staff, with (589) seedlings and various trees planted in various college gardens. The goal was to increase green spaces, enhance the aesthetic appearance of the college, and create a healthy and sustainable environment.
This initiative aims to contribute to achieving the goals of the Prime Minister's initiative for National Tree Planting Day and implement the initiative of the President of the University of Anbar, "Anbar University: A Green Oasis." It also aims to increase green spaces at the university, improve air quality, and educate students and staff about the importance of tree-planting and environmental conservation, creating a healthy and sustainable university environment, especially in fostering a spirit of cooperation and teamwork among members of the university community.
