Ramadan vibes in the Holy Quran competition at the College of Science
On Sunday, March 23, 2025, the College of Science organized a Quran memorization and recitation competition for its students. The competition was held in Ibn Sina Hall and saw widespread participation from students who competed in memorizing and reciting Quranic verses. The distinguished presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Esmat Ramzi Abdel Ghafour, who was keen to follow the competition's activities and honor the judging panel for their efforts in making the competition a success. He praised the level of the participants and urged them to continue memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran. The competition was also attended by the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, heads of academic departments, and a number of faculty members. A competitive and religious atmosphere prevailed in the competition, with participating students demonstrating high skills in memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran, and they excelled in reciting and chanting the verses. The competition was distinguished by the diverse levels of participants, which gave it a comprehensive and enriching character. This competition aims to encourage students to memorize and recite the Holy Quran, contemplate its meanings, and promote a spirit of faith and fair competition among students. It also aims to discover and honor Quranic talents by reviving the Ramadan atmosphere within the college.
