The female students of the College of Science achieved an honorable sporting achievement by winning first place in the University of Anbar's President's Air Rifle Shooting Championship, which was recently held across the university's colleges and in a closed hall.
The team representing the College of Science demonstrated a high level of precision, focus, and skill during the tournament's competitions, outperforming the teams from other participating colleges. The college team was represented by students Lina Ali Hamad, Reem Sadiq Aliwi, and Ruqayya Osama Atallah from the Department of Biotechnology. The winning students expressed their happiness with this victory, which reflects their efforts and continuous training, emphasizing the importance of the support they received from the college's deanship and training staff.
For his part, the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, congratulated the winning students and praised their outstanding performance, which has raised the name of the college high in university sports forums.
