Welcome to the world of science. The College of Science welcomes a group of distinguished students from Haditha Mixed Secondary School.
On Thursday, April 17, 2025, the College of Science welcomed a distinguished delegation of students from Haditha Mixed High School for the Gifted. This visit is part of a program aimed at strengthening communication between secondary and university education and encouraging talented students to choose scientific majors in the future. The students, accompanied by a number of their teachers, toured the college's various departments and science laboratories, where they learned about the nature of study in various science departments, such as biology, chemistry, and physics. They also learned about the modern equipment used in scientific research and practical applications.
The high school students interacted with curiosity and interest with the explanations provided by the college professors and watched some interesting scientific experiments designed to simplify scientific concepts and connect them to real life.
For his part, the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, welcomed the students and their teachers, saying, "We are pleased to receive this elite group of Haditha High School students for the Gifted, and we see in them the scientific future of Iraq."
