The College of Science received the Digital Transformation Committee of the University Presidency on Thursday, May 8, 2025, to review the college's latest preparations and efforts in the field of digital transformation and the implementation of modern electronic systems in various aspects of academic and administrative work.
The delegation was received by the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Esmat Ramzy Abdel Ghafour, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, and the Information Technology Division Head responsible for digital transformation at the college.
The visiting delegation was briefed on the electronic systems in use and future plans to expand the scope of digital transformation at the college. The delegation also heard a detailed explanation of the progress made in implementing electronic systems in the areas of registration, student affairs management, the digital library, e-learning, and financial management.
The committee's discussions with the college deanship and officials focused on removing any obstacles that may hinder the digital transformation process and providing the necessary support to accelerate the comprehensive implementation of electronic systems, in line with the university's vision and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's direction towards building an integrated digital university.
