The University of Anbar announced an exceptional research achievement: the inclusion of the "Anbar University Journal of Pure Sciences" in the international Scopus database. This significant achievement marks a pivotal turning point for the journal and the university, and underscores the quality of the scientific research published therein and its commitment to international publishing standards.
Scopus, owned by the international publishing house Elsevier, is one of the largest and most important research databases, containing millions of research papers published in thousands of peer-reviewed scientific journals from around the world. The journal's inclusion in this database signifies international recognition of the quality of the research published therein, increasing its visibility and global reach.
This achievement is the culmination of significant efforts and continuous work over many years, with the direct support and vision of the President of the University of Anbar, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada. On this occasion, the Deanship of the College of Science, represented by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, extends its sincere thanks to His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, for his unlimited support for scientific research in Iraqi universities, and his wise directives that have enabled our universities to achieve qualitative leaps in global rankings and indexes. It also extends its thanks to all those in charge of the magazine and to the academic family at the university, stressing that this achievement represents an incentive to continue working diligently to achieve more excellence and leadership in all scientific and research fields. This achievement reflects the vision of the Ministry and the University in building a competitive academic and research environment that serves the aspirations of Iraq and its youth.
