Under the direction of the respected President of the University of Anbar, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida, to the delegation visiting Malaysia, on Thursday, May 29, 2025, a meeting was held between the Dean of the College of Applied Sciences - Heet and the Assistant Dean of the College of Science, representing the Dean of the College, with a group of the best professors and researchers worldwide in the field of earth sciences, physics, biology, molecular biology, chemistry, biotechnology, and environmental sciences at the University of Kebangsaan Malaysia, as part of the university’s plan to activate memoranda of understanding. The existing equipment was reviewed and an agreement was reached with them on joint supervision of master’s and doctoral students, accepting holders of a doctorate degree in the post-doctoral program, and joint publication between them and researchers at the University of Anbar within the aforementioned specializations, as well as giving mutual lessons (online) to master’s and doctoral students within the visiting professor program, as well as granting bachelor’s students from any college at the University of Anbar, such as the College of Education for Pure Sciences and the College of Education for Girls, with the Colleges of Applied Sciences - Heet and the College of Science, seats to study for a master’s degree at any time the application is submitted within the specified time for submission in each academic year. It was agreed that some professors would be editors of peer-reviewed scientific journals at both universities.
