A qualitative lecture entitled: "Memoranda of Understanding Signed between Anbar University and Malaysian Universities"
On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, the College of Science hosted a distinguished lecture entitled "Memoranda of Understanding Signed between the University of Anbar and Malaysian Universities." Held in Ibn Sina Hall at the College of Science, the lecture was attended by the Dean of the College of Basic Education/Haditha, the Dean of the College of Education for Girls, a number of senior cadres from the university's colleges and scientific centers, and distinguished researchers.
The lecture clearly highlighted the pioneering and pivotal role played by the President of the University of Anbar, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada, in achieving this accomplishment. His Excellency headed the university delegation that visited Malaysia, and with his wise guidance and direct support, several strategic agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed with a number of prestigious Malaysian universities. These agreements will open broad horizons for cooperation in vital areas such as student and faculty exchanges, implementing joint research projects, and developing academic programs to keep pace with global developments.
The lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Rasim Faraj Muslim, Dean of the College of Applied Sciences/Hit. and Professor Dr. Ahmed Mishaal Mohammed, Assistant Dean of the College of Science for Administrative Affairs. The two lecturers gave a comprehensive and detailed presentation of the objectives of the visit, the meetings that took place, and the most important outcomes achieved in strengthening academic and research partnerships with Malaysian educational institutions to develop higher education and scientific research at the University of Anbar.
During the lecture, the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, praised the significant role of the visiting delegation and the efforts of the University President, emphasizing that these agreements will place the University of Anbar more firmly on the map of international cooperation. His Excellency also welcomed the distinguished attendees, appreciating their interest in the lecture and their efforts to take advantage of these opportunities to enhance their academic and research careers.
