As part of his commitment to continuing the scientific research process and developing graduate studies outcomes, the Dean of the College of Science meets with graduate students.

 On Monday, July 28, 2025, the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdel Ghafour, accompanied by Professor Dr. Muhammad Qais Abd, Head of the Department of Life Sciences, met with graduate students at the college who are at the beginning of their research phase. The meeting was held in Jabir Ibn Hayyan Hall and witnessed a strong presence of new master's and doctoral students.

The meeting aimed to open direct channels of communication with the students and to hear about the most prominent problems and obstacles they may face at the beginning of their research journey, whether academic, logistical, or administrative. The Dean emphasized the college's commitment to providing all necessary support and overcoming difficulties to ensure a stimulating and productive research environment.
The Dean also focused on the importance of selecting high-quality research topics characterized by originality and innovation. On another note, the Dean gave special importance to publishing research in reputable international journals within global databases (such as Scopus and Clarivate), offering valuable guidance on the standards required for publication in these journals, the importance of adhering to scientific research ethics, and the benefits of publishing in these databases for the academic reputation of both the researcher and the university.
