On Thursday, November 20, 2025, the Faculty of Science welcomed a delegation of students from Al-Gharbia High School, accompanied by several of their teachers, for an educational visit aimed at introducing them to university life and the foundations of scientific research. The delegation was received by the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Professor Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, who welcomed the students and their accompanying delegation, emphasizing the importance of such visits in guiding students toward scientific specializations that align with their aspirations, interests, and abilities.

The delegation toured the various departments of the faculty, with a particular focus on the modern scientific laboratories in departments such as Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Biotechnology. The students were shown the advanced equipment used in conducting experiments and advanced research, and listened to detailed explanations from faculty members about research methodologies and the practical applications of scientific disciplines.

This visit aimed to stimulate the students' scientific curiosity and encourage them to choose academic and research paths that contribute to sustainable development. The students interacted positively with the demonstration experiments and asked numerous questions that reflected their thirst for knowledge.
