As part of its efforts to strengthen collaboration between educational institutions, the College of Science received on Sunday, 7 December 2025, a delegation of students from the Gifted Secondary School, accompanied by several of their teachers. The visit aimed to acquaint them with university life and the foundations of scientific research.

The delegation was welcomed by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, **Professor Dr. Ahmed Mishal Mohammed**, who expressed his appreciation for the visit and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in guiding students toward scientific disciplines that align with their aspirations, interests, and capabilities.

The visiting group participated in a comprehensive tour of the college’s various departments, with particular focus on the modern scientific laboratories in departments such as Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Biotechnology. The students were introduced to advanced instruments and equipment used in conducting experiments and cutting-edge research, and they listened to detailed explanations from faculty members regarding research methodologies and the practical applications of scientific disciplines.

The visit aimed to stimulate scientific curiosity among the students and encourage them to pursue academic and research pathways that contribute to sustainable development. The students demonstrated positive engagement with the illustrative experiments and posed numerous questions that reflected their enthusiasm for learning.
