The College of Science welcomed today, Tuesday, 16 December 2025, a delegation of students from "Al-Kawakib Girls’ Secondary School" for a field scientific visit.

This visit reflects the college’s commitment to fostering cooperation between secondary and higher education and encouraging students to engage with scientific and research disciplines. The purpose of the tour was to provide students with firsthand exposure to the advanced equipment and facilities available in the college’s laboratories, familiarize them with the university environment, and introduce them to the academic departments of the college, including "Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Applied Geology, Biotechnology, and Mathematics". Additionally, the visit aimed to enrich their theoretical and practical knowledge by observing experiments and techniques employed in scientific research, motivating students to consider their future academic paths.

A group of faculty members and staff accompanied the students, providing detailed explanations about the instruments, chemical and biological materials used, and addressing their questions regarding available scientific disciplines and the prospects for their graduates.

The administration of Al-Kawakib Girls’ Secondary School expressed its gratitude to the Dean of the College of Science for the warm reception and fruitful cooperation, emphasizing that such initiatives broaden students’ horizons and guide them toward university education.
