In conjunction with the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign, the Faculty of Science is organizing an awareness campaign to combat violence against women.
In conjunction with the "16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women", the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Science, University of Anbar, organized an awareness campaign on Wednesday, 26 November 2025.
The campaign included the display of awareness wall posters conveying strong messages about the seriousness of violence against women and the necessity of rejecting it at the societal level. In addition, educational and guidance leaflets were distributed, containing informative content to help students identify cases of violence and outlining the appropriate steps to support victims and provide protection.
The awareness campaign aimed to raise students’ awareness of the dangers of violence against women and to equip them with the necessary knowledge to recognize signs of violence against women and girls and to respond appropriately. It also emphasized the importance of community support in confronting violence against women through education, awareness, and the provision of a safe and supportive environment for women and children.
