The College of Science welcomed on Wednesday, 24 December 2025, a delegation of students and teaching staff from Al-Alaa Girls’ Preparatory School on a scientific field visit aimed at enhancing students’ practical exposure and familiarizing them with the university environment.

The visit program included an extensive tour of several key academic departments within the college. The students visited the Laboratories of the Department of Biology , where they observed microscopic specimens and microorganisms and received explanations about the nature of biological studies. They then toured the Laboratories of the Department of Physics, where a number of practical physics experiments were demonstrated, along with explanations of modern laboratory instruments used for measurement and analysis. The visit concluded at the Laboratories of the Department of Biotechnology, where the delegation was introduced to modern biotechnological techniques and their roles in medical and industrial applications.

The visit also featured an introductory tour of the college’s corridors, lecture halls, and gardens, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and optimism among the students and providing them with a clear and inspiring picture of university life.
