Ceremonial Recognition of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Salman Ubaid on the Completion of His Term as Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs and Student Affairs at the College of Science

The College of Science organized a ceremonial event on Sunday, 12 October 2025, in honor of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Salman Ubaid, on the occasion of the completion of his term as Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs and Student Affairs. The ceremony was held at **Ibn Sina Hall** and attended by heads of academic departments, as well as a number of faculty members and administrative staff.

The ceremony commenced with an address delivered by Prof. Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafoor, Dean of the College of Science, in which he expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude for the outstanding scientific and administrative efforts made by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Salman during his tenure. He highlighted the significant achievements realized under his leadership, particularly in the development of academic programs, the enhancement of scientific research, and the support provided to postgraduate students.

This was followed by remarks from Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mishal Mohammed, Vice Dean for Administrative Affairs, who praised the fruitful cooperation and high level of professionalism demonstrated by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Salman. He emphasized his effective role in advancing academic work within the College, noting that many of the accomplishments achieved were the result of a strong spirit of teamwork and collective effort led with great competence.

Several heads of academic departments and faculty members also delivered remarks expressing their respect and appreciation for Prof. Dr. Ahmed Salman, commending his dedication and commitment to duty, and wishing him continued success in his future academic and research endeavors.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, a commemorative shield and a number of gifts were presented on behalf of the College administration and faculty members, as an expression of their deep appreciation and gratitude for his enduring commitment to serving the College of Science and the University as a whole.
