As part of the regular activities of the College of Science, and in line with the University of Anbar’s commitment to community service through the promotion of environmental awareness, the **Women’s Affairs Unit at the College organized a field-based environmental awareness campaign aimed at strengthening concepts of environmental sustainability.
The campaign included on-site activities such as the distribution and display of awareness posters throughout the college corridors and lecture halls. These materials introduced the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and highlighted practical ways to achieve them in everyday life.
This initiative seeks to raise environmental awareness among students and staff, emphasize the importance of conserving natural resources, and promote the creation of a green university environment by encouraging environmentally friendly practices. Such efforts contribute effectively to building a sustainable future for coming generations.
