College of Science Showcases Its Innovations and Entrepreneurial Projects at the Launch of the “Global Entrepreneurship Week” Activities at the University of Anbar under the Slogan: From the Land of Mesopotamia… Ideas Emerge

The activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025 were launched on Sunday morning, 8 February 2026, at the University of Anbar, organized by the Science and Technology Parks Department.

The event, held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and under the direct supervision of **the President of the University of Anbar, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Neda, witnessed a distinguished and active participation by the College of Science.

The College was represented by a dedicated pavilion that showcased a range of scientific and creative outputs reflecting the entrepreneurial spirit of its students and faculty members. The exhibition included several registered patents, prototypes of scientific and laboratory devices designed and manufactured through purely student-driven and research-based efforts, as well as a collection of scientific books and publications authored by faculty members of the College.

The pavilion was not limited to scientific achievements alone; it also highlighted student talents through displays of artistic and handicraft works that received notable appreciation from attendees, reflecting the cultural and creative diversity fostered within the College.

It is worth noting that the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week will continue from 8 to 12 February 2026, aiming to promote a culture of innovation and to link scientific outputs with the labor market, in line with the University’s vision to support the knowledge-based economy and sustainable development.
