A Delegation from the College of Science at University of Anbar Visits Al-Madinah Al-Elm University College to Harmonize Visions and Develop Life Sciences Curricula
In a step aimed at strengthening academic partnership, consolidating scientific cooperation, and implementing the requirements of the twinning agreement between reputable academic institutions, a high-level delegation from the College of Science at the University of Anbar conducted an official visit to Al-Madinah Al-Elm University College in Baghdad.
The visiting delegation was headed by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Qais Abd, Head of the Department of Life Sciences, representing the Dean of the College, accompanied by a distinguished group of experienced faculty members from the department.
The visit, which was marked by a warm reception, sought to activate the provisions of the academic twinning agreement concluded between the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Anbar and its counterpart at Al-Madinah Al-Elm University College. The two sides held an extensive and productive meeting focused on unifying the curricula of the Life Sciences departments at both institutions. The meeting resulted in a comprehensive agreement aimed at elevating academic standards and strengthening scholarly rigor, in a manner that serves students’ interests and reinforces cooperation between public and private universities.
Prof. Dr. Mohammed Qais Abd led the technical discussions concerning curriculum development. The meeting included a detailed review of the current course syllabi, alignment of academic content, and agreement on study plans designed to ensure the quality and rigor of learning outcomes while keeping pace with modern scientific developments in the field of Life Sciences.
At the conclusion of the visit, both parties affirmed that this initiative represents a cornerstone for launching broader joint academic projects, including expertise exchange, joint supervision, and the organization of scientific conferences, all of which contribute positively to students and the advancement of higher education in Iraq.
