A panel discussion of the Arab Geologists Association
The Arab Geologists Association is holding a (virtual) panel discussion entitled “Earthquake Phenomenon: Risks, Explanations, and Disaster Management.” The panel’s axes will be presented by elite scholars from inside and outside Iraq. The panel’s axes include earthquake belts and their degree of severity, geological survey of natural hazards, appropriate building codes for earthquake hazards and vulnerability areas in the crust.
