With the aim of linking theory to practice, "Physics Department students take a tour of the Renewable Energy Research Center."

In a move aimed at enhancing practical skills and broadening students' horizons of knowledge, students from the Physics Department in the College of Science conducted a scientific visit to the Renewable Energy Center. This visit provided the students with the opportunity to gain a firsthand insight into the latest technologies and learning methods in the field of renewable energy, and to attempt to connect the theoretical knowledge they acquired in the classroom with real-world applications.

During the visit, the students learned important details about solar cells, their various specifications, and how they generate electricity. The visit also helped hone their observation and research skills and sparked their curiosity.
This purposeful initiative was supervised by Dr. Israa Kamel Ahmed, Professor Sabah Sultan Farhan, and Professor Falah Dawood Suleiman, who emphasized the importance of such visits in changing the overall study environment, breaking the monotony of traditional lectures, and drawing information from specialized sources.
